Your child's day with Mrs. Hooker

September 10, 2019

This Cycle

It has been a great first week of school with our phase-in schedule! Thank you for all your help with this transition for your child.

I am so excited about this school year! We have enjoyed virtually meeting our other teachers for Music-Mrs. Richards, Gym-Mr. Phaler, Art-Mrs. Warsow, Library-Mrs. Berry, and Social Emotional Learning-Mrs. VanHekken. The children are doing a great job washing hands, wearing masks, and traveling in one direction down the hallways.

The colorful house your child brought home last week was from the story, The Big Orange Splot by Daniel Pinkwater. Ask your child to tell you what their houses represent.

Welcome!

 Welcome Kindergarten Families!

This blog will be updated weekly with information about our learning and any upcoming events. It will be a place to stay connected through out the year.

Thank you for a wonderful first week of school! We celebrated our names, practiced classroom routines, and had lots of fun. This week we are ready to meet more of our friends, celebrate families, and continue to learn our routines. Friday, we will meet together virtually from 9:00-9:23 am in a Google Meet through our Google Classroom. Be on the lookout for instructions on joining our Google Classroom. Google Classroom will be a hub of information and learning for this school year.
